Weather Cancellation Policy
Games / skill sessions may be cancelled due to weather under the following circumstance;
- Rain days causing wet field conditions rendering it unsafe to play on.
- High winds causing sand to blow around creating an unsafe environment with respect to a players vision
- Thunder and lightning hazard. Gameplay will stop immediately, and all players and spectators should take shelter inside (Not in the dugout or under trees)!
- Major heat warnings may cause cancellations, especially during daytime skill sessions when the sun is at its peak. Air temperature over 30°C is generally unsafe for strenuous youth activity. On days where the humidity may affect temperature to feel warmer than it should (+30°C and over) we advise caution regarding hydration. Games / skill session decisions will be made and posted on social media.
Refund Policy
Registration Fees will be refunded to any player who has registered and subsequently decided not to play or was unable to play. These fees will be refunded on the following basis:
- Fees paid to Softball NL will not be refunded.
- If refund is requested after t-shirts have been ordered, the associated cost of $30 will be deducted from the refund amount.
- The refund must be requested no more than 15 days after the start of the season.
- Refund requests must be sent to cbsminorsoftball@yahoo.com and will be paid by E-transfer.
